Dragonfish new contracts for French poker network
Dragonfish, the B2B subsidiary of 888 Holdings has recently entered a joint venture with Microgaming to create a French online poker network in the newly regulated market. Dragonfish reported that they have concluded contracts with ad Astra and Full Fun to join the liquidity of the French network.
The announcement follows shortly after 888 received a poker license from ARJEL, the French gambling authority, to offer online poker legally in the country. The partnership with online casino provider Microgaming provides a common player liquidity on a single platform and is available for license holders of Dragonfish and Microgaming in France and for customers of 888’s B2C. Both ad Astra and Full Fun have a lot of experience in the French gambling market and have a lot of knowledge about the online gambling industry. ad Astra will run the site ‘pokerSubito’, and Full Fun will run ‘pokerXtrem’ exploit.
Gigi Levy, director of Dragon Fish and CEO of 888 Holdings said: “In newly regulated markets it is important for partners to create a shared pool of liquidity, benefiting customers and assisting in rapidly generating large poker networks. These agreements will pave the way for others in the pipeline to follow, helping us to build this liquidity and benefit from the opportunities available in the French online casino gambling market.”
